A downloadable Zine

Indie Arcade is a non-profit e-zine focusing on indie games, written by admirers of the genre! It's our first issue, and it's far from perfect but I hope you will enjoy it nevertheless. We tried to write about different genres of games that share a similar theme: atmospheric.

We covered Pixel Horror Jam run by amazing Julieraptor& Rindre, a couple of RPG Maker games, and a wonderful metroidvania adventure Axiom Verge by Tom Happ and more!

PDF has hyperlinks for our social media as well as game pages so you can go straight from reading to the game you're interested in!

Very cool project! If I can make a suggestion, maybe you should choose a font that is less tiring to read. Keep up the good work, I wish you the best!

Which font exactly you mean? Pixel-like one is rarely used, mostly for design purposes. Thank you for checking us out!

I was talking about the one in all-caps you use for long texts

Hmm, we thiught this font won't be too hard to read. Is there any specific thing that makes it hard to read (eg. is it the all caps thing making it hard t read?) or do you find it hard to read in general?

Definitely the all caps thing, and maybe the wobbliness of it too. It's totally readable but more tiring than a conventional font, so I'm not sure everyone could read the whole zine in one sitting

Thank you for your input. I appreciate it greatly! We will work on making zine less tiring to read through.

Julieraptor and I really appreciate your coverage on Pixel Horror Jam 2016! I suggest that you also check out Pixel Horror Jam 2017!

I hope to collaborate with you in the future as well! Thank you!

We are planning on it! Maybe not in February issue as we chose some other things to focus on, but soon :) Thank you for taking the time to check the Indie Arcade out!

If you ever would like to collaborate in any shape of form, feel free to contact us!

We are both so honored to be featured in the first issue of Indie Arcade! Very excited to see a project like this on Itch.io and we with you luck in the future! THANKS AGAIN! <3

Thank you! And thank you for making amazing games :3
